Brief Job Description: This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the human resource function. Responsibilities include but not limited to; review an establishment of HR strategies and tactics around all aspects of Human Resource policies, objectives, and initiatives. This includes employment, orientation and training, compensation, benefits, employee relations, worker compensation, wellness, organizational development, etc. Conduct salary survey’s and ensure hospital is in compliance with current labor and regulatory requirements. Ensure complete and accurate records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Develops departmental goals and objectives and prepares and maintains departmental budget. Interprets, advises/consults policies and regulations for management and staff.
Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree; PHR or SPHR preferred, minimum of 5 years of Human Resource experience, knowledge of HR systems; federal, state, and local employment laws; workers compensation. Experience in healthcare preferred, but not required.
